A legendary returnee is helping Scuderia Ferrari get back on track. And that person is none other than Rory Byrne, the iconic designer of the Michael Schumacher era.
The South African-born F1 professional served as chief designer between 1996 and 2006, and it goes without saying that his invaluable contributions played a significant role in Ferrari's success during that time. Byrne stepped down in 2006, replaced by Aldo Costa, but due to the recent major reorganizations, he is back at the design table. Rory Byrne has already lent his name to the developments in 2022 and 2023, but now he has taken on an even more significant role in the creation of the 2024 concept. The 79-year-old wizard spent time in Maranello even before Christmas, collaborating with Enrico Cardile's team on the car, known so far only by the code name 676.
According to reports, the significantly renewed new Ferrari will be unveiled to the public on February 13!
