The announcement that no one really expected arrived this evening: starting from 2026, Mickey Mouse and several other globally recognized cartoon characters will have a role in Formula 1.
Fan experiences, events, entertainment... The F1 commercial director, Emily Prazer, believes this will be an agreement that benefits both parties: "Our collaboration with Disney will be amazing, and our fans will get to know the world of Mickey and his friends. This perfectly fits into our strategy of stepping into a broader consumer market from the world of motorsport, and in return, we will bring the magic of Disney to our 820 million F1 fans worldwide. I think this will be a fantastic pairing, as both brands provide entertainment and excitement for millions; I can't wait to start our collaboration."
