After the "long" winter break, Formula 1-free times come to an end this week on Wednesday, and work begins in Bahrain.
Pre-season practice runs until Friday, February 21-23, at the Bahrain International Circuit, where the season-opening weekend will also be held. Over the course of three days, teams will have the opportunity to take one car onto the track and simulate the conditions of the first race. Daytime heat and early evening cooling will both be factors, as the sessions will run from 8 am to 5:30 pm Hungarian time. Each driver will have one and a half days, and the event will be broadcast live on F1 TV and Sky Sports.
