The situation at Red Bull Racing is not looking good. Thanks to Verstappen's class, we can still talk about a team that is currently in the top 3, but the aftershocks of last year's Christian Horner affair, Helmut Marko's incredible nonsense, and Liam Lawson's dismissal have collectively opened a door...
A door that Max Verstappen is increasingly peeking out of, and it can almost be declared that sooner or later he will step out. A great piece of evidence for this is the "slip" he made in Japan at the farewell event for Honda, the engine supplier partner:
"We have accomplished a great adventure together, which I truly enjoyed. Of course, we had partial successes even before Honda, but I never would have believed in my dreams that we would reach such heights together. The four championship titles speak for themselves! Right now, I am just trying to enjoy this weekend, I want to be as fast as possible, but the most important thing is to celebrate what we have achieved together in Formula 1. And maybe also what common successes await us in the future..." - Verstappen made a significant hint.
Let the speculation begin, 3, 2, 1...
