Ralf Schumacher believes that what is happening at Scuderia Ferrari is simply a joke. One of the most prestigious teams competing for the world championship made mistakes this weekend that would make even those in lower entry-level series laugh.
As a result, both of the team's drivers were disqualified after the Chinese Grand Prix, which, according to Schumacher, will have serious consequences:
"To put it mildly, one component was missing from Charles Leclerc's car. This missing part weighed two kilos, which should have been factored in, and besides... At this engineering level, one should also prepare with a safety margin. This is nothing but pure incompetence. Lewis Hamilton's case is unfortunately even worse and raises stronger questions. After the Saturday sprint race, they should have known the wear on the floor plate. Then what happened... I believe this will have serious personal consequences!
A blunder of this magnitude will not be overlooked, and it cannot be left as is. They had the pace to end the weekend excellently, but what they did on Sunday is simply ridiculous, unacceptable, and not up to Ferrari's standard; with such performance, they shouldn't want to be champions." - Schumacher articulated his harsh but justified opinion.
