According to Ralf Schumacher, it is unlikely that Lewis Hamilton will succeed with Scuderia Ferrari this year; if the team manages to win in the individual standings, it will be thanks to Charles Leclerc.
Schumacher does not provide a professional explanation for this; it is a gut feeling that drives him to say:
"I don't know why, but I have a feeling that if Ferrari wins the world championship, it will be Charles Leclerc who will achieve it. When you switch teams and arrive at a new team in Formula 1, it takes at least six to eight months to fully adapt to the work environment and really get to know yourself. And I think this is completely independent of how talented, fast, experienced, or hardworking you are. Let's not forget that during this time, Leclerc won't be resting; on the contrary, he will make use of every skill that he can turn to his advantage. This includes his six years of experience, his fluent Italian language skills, and of course the connections he has built..." - reflected the former driver.
