Ralf Schumacher is confident that Max Verstappen will not be racing for Red Bull Racing next year, and he stands by this opinion even if he is sued for it.
The reason is not this year's Red Bull struggles; we need to dig deeper to understand what the German is saying:
"It is completely clear that Max Verstappen will only remain at Red Bull for a limited time. This is not due to the car's poor performance, but rather the new engine project has derailed the relationship between the driver and the team. Not to mention the power struggles... However, Mercedes and the Aston Martin team with Honda could be familiar territory for Max. There he knows what to expect. Meanwhile, Red Bull will face further difficulties, such as issues with the engine electronics and the gradual erosion of the team. There is constant tension between Christian Horner and Helmut Marko, which leads nowhere good; even a blind person can see that. Max Verstappen hates this and is escaping from it. That's the way it is, even if Horner sues me for my opinion.
Currently, Toto Wolff is also targeting him, as he has already made Verstappen lose once, which proved to be a huge mistake. But Max will not go to Mercedes; he will go to Aston Martin. Either Fernando Alonso or Lance Stroll would need to leave early to make room for him, but the greens will sort this out."
