Charles Leclerc is frustrated. Scuderia Ferrari is not delivering what is expected so far, and there is no guarantee that this will change in the remainder of the season.
Leclerc currently feels like he is groping in the dark, and it was no different in Miami:
“It doesn’t matter if it’s Saturday or Sunday, the same thing always happens. I run a good lap, give it my all, and it’s only enough for eighth place. This is what we know right now, this is what we deserve... But this is really not good. We need to be better! Our situation is tough, and I can only hope that we will be able to move forward soon.
For me, it is completely clear what we are struggling with. I just don’t know if we will be able to solve it. We need to split the problem because one part is tactical, and the other is technical. We are losing positions due to our poor tactics, but even more so because our car is not competitive enough. We have a lot to improve on, and upgrades are coming soon; I really hope that they will work to our advantage.” - Charles Leclerc stated somewhat disheartened.
