Hamilton explained that he did not receive the team’s radio message about Piastri’s approach until it was too late to react, and he was unable to see the McLaren driver in his mirrors. Piastri expressed frustration over the incident, noting that he expected Hamilton to move aside but nearly collided with him instead.
