Could the Alonso Verstappen dream team become a reality in 2026?

Could the Alonso Verstappen dream team become a reality in 2026?

Tóth Krisztián Márk |

According to the Spanish media, it is alleged that the two-time world champion leaked this to the press, which got everyone excited.

A Catalan newspaper was the first to report that after the recent “disturbances”, Max Verstappen is once again contemplating leaving the place of success, Red Bull Racing. The four-time world champion is reportedly very dissatisfied with what he experienced during the tests, believing that they could fall seriously behind starting from the Australian Grand Prix. He is also very disturbed that Liam Lawson has been signed to the team, who will not be able to contribute as much to the developments as Sergio Perez did. This news was linked to one of the most well-known German newspapers, which, citing the Spanish sources, also added that the possibility of a transfer/departure could be based on internal information from Fernando Alonso. Just the other day, Facebook reminded us of one of our memories when we wrote about Adrian Newey's transfer to Aston Martin Racing. The comments section was buzzing then, and now it can be seen where Newey was working. So after a bad start to the season and a championship title lost halfway through, it might be worth considering once for those who think they know everything...
