ALBON COULD BE A RED BULL DRIVER AGAIN?

ALBON COULD BE A RED BULL DRIVER AGAIN?

Krisztián Márk Tóth |

That's precisely what the latest news is about, and no, it's not in the colors of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls...

At the end of this season, several drivers' contracts will expire, and one of the cornerstones of the transfer market could easily be Alexander Albon. In professional circles, it is believed that Albon has very good chances of making a quality leap and jumping straight from the wheel of the Williams to the world-beating car of Red Bull Racing. The British-Thai dual citizen is quite sought after; reportedly, his good performance has not only caught the attention of his former team but even the Scuderia Ferrari has explored the possibility of acquiring him. Albon still maintains an excellent relationship with Christian Horner's team, but what could really tip the scales in his favor is the ownership structure of the team. The Red Bull GmbH is 51 percent owned by the co-founder's Thai son, (!!) Chalerm Yoovidhya, who is deeply committed to the cause of Max Verstappen and his team.

It is also entirely possible that all of this may not happen until 2025, but it is already beginning to emerge strongly that Sergio Perez is unlikely to stay. It is conceivable that they may first try to reintegrate Daniel Ricciardo into the scene of his previous successes, but due to his young age and performance, Alexander Albon is the likely choice in the long run.
