James Vowles is grateful to Lewis Hamilton for choosing Scuderia Ferrari and enabling Carlos Sainz's move to Williams.
Vowles knows and respects Hamilton, but he cannot say and does not want to take a position on whether the seven-time world champion will be successful at Ferrari. However, he is confident about one thing: Hamilton has inadvertently helped the Williams team significantly!
"It is still very early to say whether Lewis will be successful at Ferrari or not. There was a reason for him to make that decision. He is still a seven-time world champion with incredible knowledge, capable of holding his own against the much younger Charles Leclerc.
Scuderia Ferrari did what it had to do, they jumped on it, and it created an opportunity for us to acquire Carlos Sainz!" - praised James Vowles the decision of Hamilton and Ferrari.
