Is the switch approaching? Verstappen tested Ferrari under a pseudonym.

Is the switch approaching? Verstappen tested Ferrari under a pseudonym.

Tóth Krisztián Márk |

Franz Hermann tested a GT3 Ferrari at the Nordschleife. And what's the news in this? Well, it's that Franz is actually Max, and he was 2 seconds faster than everyone else at first.

If that wasn't enough, he indicated his intention to participate in this year's Nürburgring 24h race. This obviously raises serious questions, but more on that later...

Verstappen arrived at the track with his own security personnel and took every measure to hide from the public eye. This is well illustrated by the fact that he could only be photographed outside the paddock, on the track, where the name Franz Hermann was displayed on the car next to the Dutch flag, but his helmet and overall gave him away.

The RB driver was already familiar with the car, as it belongs to his team's partner, Verstappen.com Racing, which is involved in both the DTM and the GT World Challenge. Moreover, a German newspaper reported, citing a reliable source, that Verstappen wants to obtain a racing license for the Nordschleife this year, which he described as his favorite track. This would allow him to participate in the Nürburgring 24 hours (as well).

If all this is true - and why would he be testing if it weren't - then it raises serious concerns about Max Verstappen's further F1 career.
