An incredible show arrived in Maranello, but since then, Lewis Hamilton has shown very little of why he is considered one of the best in F1.
The Scuderia's performance is struggling, and it seems that this year will definitely be a learning year, with the team possibly becoming competitive no sooner than 2026. Hamilton himself does not deny this...:
“Indeed, that is the truth, we are starting to run out of this year. The team is essentially already focusing on 2026, and I think for me this will be a learning, foundational year. In the remaining part of 2025, I will familiarize myself with everything, we will make the necessary changes to ensure that we can be successful in the long term.
Currently, I am focusing on these, I am working on them in the background. We are working on a lot of developments that will make our car faster and will be faster. Everything will renew by 2026, and everyone will start completely from scratch. I believe we are heading in the right direction, that we can do it, and that we can be champions.” - Hamilton stated optimistically.
