Since his F1 debut, Antonelli has often been seen 'hanging out' with Verstappen, and they are frequently spotted together in the paddock, with the four-time world champion eagerly seeking the company of the young Italian driver.
“I think most people misjudge Max Verstappen. Yes, on the track he is truly a lion, a wild animal, but off the track, he is a very nice, likable guy. We have a lot in common; besides F1, he also loves GT racing and sim racing. However, at my first home race, I will be focused on beating him. I grew up in Bologna, which is very close to Imola, so it’s obvious that my friends, family, and classmates will be cheering for me in person.
